Your journey toward greater balance begins here.

Matthew Fass, MS, L.Ac, LMT

“Easeful body, peaceful mind, useful life" are the words that Matt strives to embody. He traces his roots in the healing arts back to his time at the Integral Yoga Institute in New York (IYINY), training as a Hatha yoga teacher and living as a resident of the institute's ashram. These years were a period of growth and personal enrichment, and instilled in him the value of self inquiry, community, and cultivating a good relationship with the body, mind, and spirit.

Matt is passionate about the healing arts and how they can play a vital role in maintaining balance. He holds a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport, graduating Summa cum laude. For his academic efforts he received the Director’s Award for Outstanding Achievement and Scholarship in the Field of Acupuncture.

He is also a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Massage. He has a diverse clinical background, spanning multiple settings. He has extensive experience in physical rehabilitation centers and facilities dedicated to pain management, post-operative care, injury recovery, and palliative support for ongoing medical conditions. Matt’s passion also encompasses East Asian bodywork, having trained in Shiatsu under the renowned Master Ohashi of Ohashiatsu®, and in Thai Yoga Massage with Diana Seiler of the Hudson Valley Thai Yoga Massage School.

Matt brings together his diverse training and clinical experience to offer a holistic, well-rounded approach to healing. By integrating techniques from medical massage, acupuncture, and East Asian bodywork, he tailors his treatments to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Beyond his passion for the healing arts, Matt is a dedicated musician and recording artist. He has released his own music and contributed to projects with other artists, playing since his early teens and embracing a wide range of musical styles. In recent years, Matt has deepened his musical journey through Bhakti yoga, engaging in kirtan—a devotional practice of call-and-response chanting of mantras.
